Many different comedians and actors have taken small breaks from their usual venue to dabble in other worlds. Many times writing an episode/show/sketch/issue for another television program/television program/television program/comic book.

The Chicago comedy improv scene is all abuzz this week as the rumors that had leaked for the last month became verified. Comedy’s Sam Super WILL be writing a facebook status for comedy’s Josh Breit on December 12th.

If you aren’t already facebook friends with Josh Breit you might want to get on his list before this epic event occurs!

Tom Selleck’s Mustache Mondays is a standup comedy open mic happening every Monday night! Sign ups start at 9pm show starts around 10pm (after “the game” of sports on the TV stops).

This week I will be hosting! Come try out your new material! It is a very supportive environment.

While the comedy is 100 Proof funny, there are no drink minimums at The ComedySportz Theatre. But you can feel free to take advantage of our full-service bar just the same!

The Chaser is a totally free stand-up open mic where the prize is a chance to perform in next week’s professional set. In the past, open mics at The ComedySportz Theatre have been played by such national talents as Hannibal Burress and Tommy Johnagin! Just think who might be playing the night you watch!

The Comedy Club on State is Madison, Wisconsin’s only comedy club. If you live there you can see comedians from all over the nation. If you go there Thursday, this will include me! How does one get to Madison? Other comedians who drive, that’s how. I’ll be riding up with Thursday night’s emcee, Jeanie Doogan.

Deanna Moffitt and Rance Rizzutto are back as The R&D Project with their show Silent Treatment. A 30-minute improv show with no words…all improvised to a soundtrack we’ve never heard before until we perform. To answer a question we get a lot after our shows: “Yes, for real. We didn’t rehearse the show. It was all improvised.”
