I’ll be performing with BEATBOX at the So Ill Comedy Festival! Saturday 4/23 10:30pm at Hangar 9!
The So iLL Comedy Festival turns 5 years old this year, and looking back, there have been so many amazing moments in it’s history. To name a few, there was the inaugural festival that took place at Quigley Hall in 2007. Performers had to make sure to avoid the lectern on stage and lights had to be brought in from the SIU Theater Department. In 2008 there was an on-stage proposal. 2009 saw the festival move into the Varsity Center for the Arts and in turn the Varsity saw their first sell-out crowd. 2010 was the year the critically acclaimed Improvised Shakespeare Company came to town and even Mayor Brad Cole had a hard time finding a seat to the show. 2011 will see the addition of stand-up comedy, Baby Wants Candy and many more amazing moments you won’t want to miss.
Tickets sold at the door.
