Created by Del Close and Charna Halpern, The Harold begins with an audience suggestion. A team of improvisers fully explore the suggestion through scenes and games, creating disparate stories, characters and themes that eventually weave together seamlessly, like the instruments of a jazz band.

I’m heading to North Carolina for NCCAF to perform with BEATBOX: Chicago’s Funniest Hip-Hop Comedy Crew. Scenes are cut, mixed and transformed by a human beatbox and some of the most acclaimed improvisers in the country.
BEATBOX opens with a freestyle off a single suggestion, features improv comedy scenes, battle raps, scratches, and ends in a ONE NIGHT ONLY rap jam inspired by the world of characters from that show.
